Escalated Approval - % Under Target

Overview

This skill shows a configurable message if a loan is a specified bps under target. After saving, a summary of all loans requiring approval with full Relationship details, and optional contact details of the required approver, is emailed to the user. The email can be configured for manual delivery by clicking a tag message instead. Up to two targets can be set with unique approver details for each. This article will cover configuring and testing the skill, and viewing and enabling it in PrecisionLender.

Configuring and Testing the Skill

Before enabling the skill for the targeted audience, you first need to ensure that the skill is working properly by testing it. To do this, navigate to the skill details page to configure and enable the skill for your Testing audience:

• Select Testing under the Audiences section.
• In the Version dropdown menu, select the version of the skill that you want to test. This will display the skill configurations.
• In the General Configuration section on the skill details page, enter the following information to configure the skill:

General Configuration

• Approval Summary Delivery Option - (Required) Delivery options for the email summary of needed approvals. It can be sent manually when the user clicks the tag message or it can be sent automatically every time they save the opportunity.
• Tag Message Override - Automatic Delivery - (Optional) The message to display if you want to override the default message of the automatic delivery option tag. Default - "Loans priced more than {X}% under target require escalated approval. A summary of approvals will be emailed to you after saving."
• Tag Message Override - Manual Delivery - (Optional) The message to display if you want to override the default of the manual delivery option tag. Default - "Loans priced more than {X}% under target require escalated approval. Click here to deliver an email summary of approvals to your inbox."
• Include Approver In Summary Email? - (Required) Should the email summary of needed approvals include the line "Required Approval Authority:" listing your configured approvers contact details?
• Required Approvers(s) - 1st Level Target - (Optional) If you answered yes to include approver, list the email or name here. Separate by commas for multiple.
• Required Approvers(s) - 2nd Level Target - (Optional) If you have defined a 1st level approver, and would like a 2nd level, list the email or name here. Separate by commas for multiple.

Product Group 1

• Select Products - List of products the skill should be enabled for. If no selection is made, skill will fire on all products.
• 1st Threshold - Bps Under Target - (Required) The amount, in bps, that the loan needs to be under target for this tag to show.
• 2nd Threshold - Bps Under Target - (Optional) If you assigned 2nd Level Approvers, this is the amount, in bps, that the loan needs to be under target for the skill to utilize the 2nd level approver.

Select Enable Changes to enable the skill for the Testing audience. Once you've enabled this skill for testing, make sure you've added the users who will be testing the skill to the Testing audience.

Viewing the Skill in PrecisionLender

When the loan is a specified bps under the target, the Andi® skill will run and the escalated approval warning message will appear under the Here are things to consider section. If you have configured email addresses, the message will display as a hyperlink that you can click on. This will open an email window with a draft for you to edit as needed.

Enabling the Skill

After you've viewed and tested the skill, you are ready to enable the skill for the targeted Audience.

• Navigate back to the skill details page for the skill you were testing.
• In the Audiences section, select the targeted audience for this skill and choose the version of the skill you're enabling. When the latest skill version is published by the skill owner, it will automatically be available for selection in the list.
• Open the configuration and select Copy Config From… to copy all of your configuration settings from the Testing audience.
• Select Enable Changes to enable the skill for the targeted audience.
